Founded at the beginning of 2008 by Barry Devlin, 9sight Consulting is dedicated to moving Business beyond mere Intelligence towards real Insight. At its current phase of evolution, IT allows us to envisage a single, seamless flow within and between business tasks. Furthermore, modern business demands it. Combining technological acumen from informational, operational and collaborative fields is key to this evolution. However, IT alone will not suffice. Barry Devlin

Dr. Barry Devlin is among the foremost authorities on business insight and data warehousing. He is a widely respected consultant, lecturer and author of the seminal book, “Data Warehouse—from Architecture to Implementation”. He is a regular contributer to BeyeNETWORK and BeyeCONNECT.

With nearly three decades of experience in IT, Barry has been an international consultant, manager, systems architect and software evangelist with IBM over 20 years. He is founder and principal of 9sight Consulting, specializing in the human, organizational and IT implications and design of deep business insight solutions. Barry’s current interest extends to a fully integrated business, covering informational, operational and collaborative environments to offer an holistic experience of the business through IT.
